Rodriguez/ Tocke win Snipe North Americans 2021

Ernesto Rodriguez and Kathleen Tocke (above) dominated the 2021 North Sails Snipe North American Championship held September 10-12 in Beverly MA. With 41 teams competing, the duo won five of the six races to take the title by 17 points over Enrique Quintero/ Charlie Bass with Augie Diaz/ Barbie Brotons four points further back in third.

Aside from the podium dominated by the Miami fleet, almost 40% of the competitors were under the age of 30. Sailors traveled from both coasts and the middle of the US though border restrictions prevented Canadians from participating.

Next up for the Snipe Class is the Western Hemisphere and Orient Championship on September 21-25 in Winthrop, MA.
