Kaufman wins Etchells North Americans

Scott Kaufman won his fourth consecutive International Etchells Class Association North American Championship, topping the 26-boat fleet on the Pacific Ocean course October 1-3 in San Diego, CA. After holding a two point lead going into race 8 which was to be the final race of the regatta, an abandonment left no time for a restart and the victory was sealed. Kaufman’s crew was Alec Anderson, Brian Kamilar, and Reed Baldridge. Winning the Corinthian title was Will La Dow with Andy La Dow, Chuck Sinks, and Anton Schmid.
