World Sailing Rankings

The World Sailing Rankings seek to establish an order of ability based on the results of graded events over a 24 month period. The rankings focus on the 10 Olympic events and Open and Women’s Match Racing, though the accuracy of the rankings has been impacted by travel restrictions during the pandemic.

While the the match racing rankings remain unchanged, the updated fleet racing rankings in which the North Americans are in the top 20 include Canadian Tom Ramshaw (10th, Finn), Mexican Mariana Aguilar Chavez Peon (6th, iQ Foil Women) and from the USA are: Daniela Moroz and Kirstyn O’Brien (6th and 7th, Formula Kite Women), Charlie Buckingham (3rd, Laser), Stu McNay/ Dave Hughes (7th, 470 Men), Nikole Barnes/ Lara Dallman-Weiss (9th, 470 Women), Stephanie Roble/ Maggie Shea (9th, 49erFX), Pedro Pascual (11th, RS:X Men), Riley Gibbs/ Anna Weis (12th, Nacra 17), Andrew Molerus/ Ian MacDiarmid (13th, 49er)
