Etchells Biscayne Bay Series #1

Forty boats came out for the start of the 2021-22 Etchells Biscayne Bay Series, with the Louis Piana Cup (December 11-12) as the first of four events to be held on Biscayne Bay in Miami, FL. Jim Cunningham dominated the first day with a 2-1-2, hanging on well enough on day two with his crew Steve Hunt, Erik Shampain, and Carrie Wiley to win by five points over Craig Mense in second with Scott Kaufman four points back in third.
