Spain extends interest in America’s Cup

The Spanish port city of Malaga has confirmed it is keen on hosting the next America’s Cup which keeps Spain in the bidding as Barcelona’s interest is cooling and Valencia dropped out. With the venue to be selected by March 31, the kiwi defender is also reviewing international offers from Cork in Ireland and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. – Full report


Following the publication of the AC37 Protocol and AC75 Class Rule on November 17, the entry period opened December 1, 2021 and runs until July 31, 2022, but late entries for the 37th America’s Cup may be accepted until May 31, 2023.
