Competing in the Conch Republic

Key West, FL (January 17, 2022) – Racing at the 2022 Southernmost Regatta got underway today with 10-20 knots of breeze, big blue rollers, and full sunshine. David Team’s Vesper won two of three races to lead the GL52s, while leaders in the other fleets won both their races: Laura Grondin in the Melges 24, Bobby Julien in the J/70, Andrew Ward/ Sedgwick Ward in the J/111, and Gwen Fragomen in ORC. Racing is planned for January 17-21.
