The Race Around starting in La Rochelle

The Race Around, which begins its inaugural event for Class40s in September 2023, will have the round-the-world course start in La Rochelle, France. With categories for both solo and doublehanded competitors, the route has stopovers in Cape Town, South Africa; Auckland, New Zealand; and South America (TBD) before returning for the final finish in La Rochelle. With a maximum of 35 teams to participate, overall ranking is based on cumulative points gained from each of the four legs.
