2022 Miami Cup Ocean Race

Jason Carroll and his crew on the MOD70 trimaran eclipsed the elapsed time record for the 171nm Miami Cup Ocean Race, crossing the Nassau finish line in 09:03:01, bettering the mark previously set in 2012 by Ron O’Hanley on his Cookson 50 Privateer of 13:31:30. Kate and Jim Murray’s Pac52 Callisto led all monohulls to win ORC 1 while Andrew Clark’s J/122 Zig Zag topped the ORC 2 fleet.
