43rd St. Maarten Heineken Regatta

The 2023 St. Maarten Heineken Regatta attracted 95 teams across 14 classes for racing on March 2-5. The 43rd edition featured random leg and around the island courses for a fleet that ranged from VO70s to Melges 24s to an assortment of bareboat charters. Additionally, the Sint Maarten Yacht Club also had six identical RS Zests raced by young talent from the junior sailing program. Each boat has one experienced ILCA sailor, an Optimist sailor, and a new junior sailor to complete the crew and create pathways for more young sailors in St. Maarten.
