Anna Östling wins Santa Maria Cup

The second stage of the 2023 Women’s World Match Racing Tour had ten teams from six nations competing May 1-4 at the Santa Maria Cup in Annapolis, MD. Using J/22s, Anna Östling (SWE) won the qualifying double round robin stage, but found herself down 0-2 in the semi finals against Megan Thomson (NZL). However, the Swede rallied to win three straight and reach the finals against Celia Willison (NZL) where she shut out the Kiwi 3-0 for the title. Winning the petit final was Nicole Breault (USA).
