VX One North Americans in Cleveland

Forty-six teams representing four countries are at the 2023 VX One North American Championship with racing on September 28-30 in Cleveland, OH.

Without 2022 champions competing to defend their title, the top of the podium could go to a handful of teams. Coming off a win in the 216 Regatta at the venue, it could be Kaitlyn Liebel’s ‘Another Bad Idea’ crewed by Mark Liebel and Jordan Wiggins.

Also returning is 2021 Champion duo Chris Alexander and John Bowden who will be joined by Chandler Self. Posting consistent top results but competing in their first North Americans is Jack Jorgensen sailing alongside Ryan Davidson and Abbie Goodness.

Twelve races are scheduled on the open waters of Lake Erie north of Edgewater Yacht Club.
