Early winners at Youth Sailing Worlds

On the penultimate day of the 2024 Youth Sailing World Championships, Danai Giannouli and Iakovina Kerkezou of Greece won the Female Two Person Dinghy event (I420). The 2023 European champions posted four bullets in eight races to claim the early title.

The world’s best young sailors from over 75 countries are competing July 15-19, with 11 events being held for the 1600 competitors in Lake Garda, Italy.

Consistency by the USA has the team ranked fourth for The Nations Trophy which is awarded to the best overall nation. Current results of top North Americans:
