Who is the best baller in sailing?

And now for something completely different.
The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament is approaching, and we are pleased to announce that 2025 Scuttleball is officially launched. What was started in 1988 by a bunch of friends in Annapolis continues today, providing a college hoops pool to test our skills in something other than sailing.
Known as March Madness, the 2025 edition starts with Selection Sunday on March 16 when 68 teams will be named. The tournament bracket gets confirmed the same day, and players (that’s you!) then must submit their picks no later than the start of the first round of the Tournament on March 20, 2025.
No entry fee is required, and the winner will receive personal bragging rights and recognition in Scuttlebutt Sailing News. Recent winners include Buttons Padin (2023) and Kathy Alven (2024). Entry is open, and remember, you miss every shot you don’t take.
The latest AP Top 25 Poll has Duke ending Auburn’s eight-week stay at No. 1 as the Tigers dropped to third behind Houston. “Just my luck to be No. 1 going into the postseason when it really doesn’t matter,” said Duke coach Jon Scheyer.
Recent Scuttleball winners rode the UConn train to the title, but Husky fans’ hope of a third consecutive victory is hampered by a down year… not even ranked in the top 25. For all the haters of their coach Dan Hurley, can we hear an amen?
The Championship Game is April 7, so plan your life accordingly. Also, please share this pool with your friends to see who is the best baller in sailing. To enter, click here.
