The National Race Officer Training Programme offers a variety of courses across all aspects of officiating, including:

To assist with preparing an application and finding the most appropriate course, World Sailing has produced guidebooks for the National Race Officer Training Program and for the Measurers, Umpires & Judges Clinics.
After the application window has closed, all applications will be reviewed in line with strategic development priorities and successful courses can begin as early as May 30, 2025.
“The new process enhances accessibility to educational courses for all nations and supports the global development of sailing officials,” explained Fiona Kidd, World Sailing’s Head of International Development. “Member National Authorities can now apply for year-round courses, simplifying scheduling. World Sailing will also assist MNAs in securing funding to ensure training reaches those in need.”
