Nominations for World Sailing Awards

Nominations are open for the World Sailing Awards 2026, with the winners to be recognized as part of the World Sailing Annual Conference on November 18 in Qingdao, China. World Sailing seeks submissions for:
• Rolex World Sailor of the Year to be presented to sailing’s highest achievers.
• Young World Sailor of the Year to acknowledge the achievements of the next generation of sailing stars.
• Impact Award to celebrate significant contributions to positive environmental or social impact in sailing by individuals and teams.
• Team of the Year to reward successful crews of two or more.
The eligibility period for these awards is from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
All submissions for these awards will be considered by a panel comprised of independent experts representing the diversity of the marine industry. The panel will determine a shortlist of finalists based upon all received nominations, with a public vote combined with the panel to determine the recipients.
Additionally, nominees are sought for the Beppe Croce Trophy and President’s Development Award to honor outstanding individual and regional contributions to the sport of sailing.
Nominations are open in all categories using the online form. The nomination period will close on September 30, 2026.
