2026 World Sailing Awards finalists
Published on October 26th, 2026
World Sailing has selected the finalists for this year’s male and female Rolex World Sailor of the Year, male and female Young World Sailor of the Year, 11th Hour Racing Impact Award, and Team of the Year.
The winners will be decided by a combined public vote and World Sailing’s judges vote with each group contributing 50% of the decision. There are two finalists from North America for voting consideration.
Charlotte Rose (USA) had a stellar season in the Olympic ILCA 6 Class where she nearly lived on the podium, culminating with the World Championship title.
For the Impact Award, Shake-A-Leg Miami (USA) has made sailing and marine activities accessible to people with disabilities, veterans, and disadvantaged young people while promoting inclusion, independence, and personal development.
