2025 Trofeo Princesa Sofía Mallorca

The 2025 Trofeo Princesa Sofía Mallorca on March 31-April 5 attracted over 50 nations for the 54th edition of this largest annual Olympic class regatta on the schedule. With nearly 800 boats and boards competing on the Bay of Palma, Emma Wilson (GBR), winning gold in the iQFOiL Class, was crowned outright champion across all 10 racing categories. Overall, Great Britain won nine medals in this edition, five of them gold.

Finishing sixth in the 49er, Nevin Snow/ Ian MacDiarmid topped the 29 athletes representing the USA while Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance, ninth in the 49erFX, had the best result of 19 Canadian sailors competing.

The Sailing Grand Slam consists of the four most iconic Olympic sailing events in Europe as well as a new regatta to be held in the host city of Los Angeles 2028:

* World Sailing voted to keep the Paris 2024 Sailing Program for Los Angeles 2028, but the program is not final until the IOC approves all events, which usually occurs between December 2024 and January 2025. To date, this decision has not been made.
