Best Boat Nominees 2027

SAIL magazine presents ten nominees for its 2027 Best Boats Awards:

It’s been a long time coming, but 2027 is truly the year of the cat. For the first time ever, new catamaran debuts out number new monohulls by nearly two to one, with an incredible 11 of them up for consideration in this year’s Top 10 competition.

These models offer space, stability, and impressive ocean-going capability, in so many options it’ll be difficult to choose. And though small in number, this year’s monohulls hold their own in the rising tide of two hulls, representing a range of innovative ideas, fine tuned design, and top notch manufacturing.
