Testing for LA 2028 in Long Beach

After five of the Olympic events completed their racing on July 15, the second half of the 2025 Long Beach Olympic Classes Regatta was held July 17-20 in Long Beach, CA. Nevin Snow and Ian MacDiarmid posted the top score for USA by winning the Men’s Skiff event with racing also in the Women’s Skiff, Mixed Multihull, and Men’s and Women’s Windsurfing. The event drew over 200 sailors from 44 countries.

The Sailing Grand Slam consists of the four most iconic Olympic sailing events in Europe as well as a new regatta to be held in the host city of Los Angeles 2028:

• Kieler Woche (Kiel, Germany): June 21-29
