Wind gods allow Snipe Dudley Gamblin to begin

Published on March 27th, 2014

Nassau, Bahamas (March 27, 2014) – Wind strength was right at the limit for the start of the Dudley Gamblin Memorial, the final event on the Snipe Winter Circuit. The wind gods abated enough for the one race, which went off without a hitch save that in the second reach of the second triangle, the mast for Fernando de Cardenas/ Sarah Morley exploded in three places. There was no other carnage, a testament to the small but experienced fleet. Day one results.
