Twenty-eight teams competed in the Etchells Midwinters West, held March 31 to April 2 in San Diego, CA. Tom Carruthers with Andrew Palfrey and Chris Busch took the title after 11 races, building an 8 point margin over Bruce Nelson with Eric Doyle six points further back in third. Results.
