VIDEO: Extreme Sailing Series heads to the Far East for Act 2, Singapore

The high-rise and cosmopolitan city of Singapore is getting into gear to host to Act 2 of the 2013 Extreme Sailing Series™ on April 11-14.

It’s not the first time the Extreme 40s have raced in Singapore but this iconic city is now a regular fixture on the global, 8-stop tour for the next three years supported by Local Partner Aberdeen Asset Management, the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Sailing Federation. Eight international teams with 28 World Championship titles, 20 Olympic campaigns and 25 America’s Cups between them will line up on the 11th April for four days of intense stadium racing on Marina Bay Reservoir, including local heroes Scott Glen Sydney and Justin Wong and their home nation invitational entry, Team Aberdeen Singapore.

Fans onsite can enjoy a packed entertainment schedule in the free to enter public race village at The Promontory@Marina Bay including live music, try sailing and more, while online fans can watch the stadium racing live online on the official event website https://www.extremesailingseries.com.
