New race format to be tested at EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup

The EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup, the new European series for Olympic and Paralympic Classes, will launch next week in Italy (May 8-12). This five-event circuit is designed to complement the ISAF Sailing World Cup series, which concluded in Hyères, France (Apr 20-27). The regatta format will include a Qualifying Series, a Fleet Racing Series and a Final Race Day. The final score will be the sum of the rank from the Fleet Racing Series and one race on the Final Race Day (only the 49er and 49erFX plan to have more than one race). – Full details
