Armed assault on Sailing Academy

The Sailing Academy in Ukraine has faced recent turmoil from military forces that has led to the destruction of three keelboats and additional property damage. The court system is calling for the destruction of facilities and the transfer of assets to the Military Intelligence unit of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine. The land disputes and raider attacks initiated by the state have increased due to attractiveness of land plots as well as defunct and corrupted court system. The Sailing Academy is a member of the Sailing Federation of Ukraine and organizing authority of the Hetman Cup – the country’s most prestigious sailing event. Full details here.
