LLS’ 17th Annual Leukemia Cup Regatta Does It Again

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Orange County/Inland Empire Chapter hosted their Jr. Leukemia Cup Regatta, and Harbor 20 Leukemia Cup Regatta on May 18-19 in Corona Del Mar, Calif. The Leukemia Cup Regattas are thrilling events held across the country that gather sailors to compete and help raise funds to find cures for blood cancers.
This year’s Leukemia Cup Regatta’s were a huge success with the support of several participants and volunteers. Overall, over 40 boats participated in the 2-day Jr. Leukemia Cup Regatta, and 24 participated in the Harbor 20 regatta. So far, the 2013 Leukemia Cup Regatta campaign has raised almost $75,000, and the campaign is looking to reach a goal of $100,000.
