2013 Marblehead to Halifax

(July 8, 2013) – After a slow start on Sunday for the 35th biennial Marblehead-to-Halifax Ocean Race, the 75 teams are now progressing down the 363 mile track. The racing fleet includes Ticonderoga, the classic 85-foot L. Francis Herreshoff designed ketch, and Rambler, the 90-footer that was first to finish in 2009 and currently leads the field. The Peterson 37 Valour and the Alden 78 Summerwind appear to have dropped out. – Race website
