The annual Ronstan Bridge to Bridge Race on Thursday (September 12, 2013) attracted 70 entrants for the downwind sprint from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge on San Francisco Bay. The field included skiffs, kites, cats, trimarans and windsurfers, with Johnny Heineken crushing the existing overall record on his foiling kiteboard, posting a time of 12 minutes flat.
