Mariner National Championship 2013

The 45th Mariner US National Championship Regatta and the 50th Anniversary of the Class were celebrated September 14-15, 2013 on the Delaware River in Riverton, NJ. In six challenging races completed in 5-20 mph winds and plenty of river current, there were 5 different race winners among the 18 boat fleet. The Championship was settled on the last leg of the last race, where Newt Wattis with son Greg as crew of Surf City YC recovered from 8th place on the next to last leg to win the last race and the title. – Final results
