Fog interupts Laser Midwinter’s East

The 2014 Laser Midwinter’s East was hosted by the Clearwater Yacht Club and sailed from the Clearwater Community Sailing Center in Florida on February 20-23. The event attracted 199 sailors competing in the Laser Full Rig, Radial, and 4.7. While Thursday (6-8 knots) and Friday (13-18 knots) allowed for six races to be completed, fog on Saturday and Sunday prevented further racing. Winners were Louisa Nordstrom (4.7), Luke Ramsay (Radial), and Robert Davis (Full). Complete results.
