Team Racing on the Black Sea

(April 1, 2014) – The Sevastopol Yacht Club on the Black Sea coast of Crimea has distributed invitations for the Eastern European Team Racing Championship. Current attendance is required of Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, and Poland. Event management will be assisted by the Moscow division of ISAF which will run the championship using the new “fluid rules”. Teams should expect the rules to change at any time without notice despite previous agreements and promises. The event will use boats provided by the Ukrainian/ Russian navies, and the regatta format is irrelevant as Russia is pre-determined to win. For additional information: vputin@kremlin.org
