Storm Watch: Arthur rising, Douglas fading

Atlantic:
Tropical Storm Arthur continues to strengthen, and is expected to become a hurricane either Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Arthur should reach peak intensity near or northeast of the Outer Banks of North Carolina on Friday morning. More.

East Pacific:
Tropical Storm Douglas storm continues to slowly weaken in the eastern Pacific, well to the west-southwest of the southern end of the Baja California Peninsula. The storm is moving into cooler waters and eventually the storm will dip below tropical storm status and begin to fade away. More.
