AP flag flying at J/70 North Americans

Rochester, NY (July 19 2014) – A lack of wind on the third day of the J/70 North American Championship prevented racing for the 71-boat fleet. After five races, Brian Keane’s scoreline (5,6,2,4,5) has his team in first place with 22 points, with Tim Healy in second with 33 points, and Ian Atkins in third with 49. Brian Elliott currently tops the Corinthian division.
The regatta, hosted by Rochester Yacht Club in Rochester, New York, will not have a discard race. Racing concludes Sunday for the teams from Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Great Britain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Sweden and the United States.
