Sailing events included in Gay Games 9

There were breezy conditions all week at the Gay Games 9 Sailing Event, hosted by Edgewater Yacht Club in Cleveland, OH on August 10-15. The racing began in consistent winds of 15 to 20 knots from the West and South as storms continued to build and pass through the area. Racing was held in the Competitive Class (sailed in Lightning’s with spinnakers, 13 boats, 12 races) and the Recreational Class (sailed in Tartan Ten’s under jib and main, 5 boats, 7 races).
