Francisco Renna wins Sunfish Worlds

Arapahoe, NC (October 16, 2014) – Francisco Renna of Argentina triumphed in the 72-boat fleet to win the 2014 Sunfish World Championship. The final three races of the series were sailed today to complete the nine race series. Winning four of the races, Renna finished 17 points ahead of second place finisher Jean Paul de Trazegenies of Peru, with Conner Blouin of the United States four points further back in third. The 2015 Sunfish Youth World and World Championship will be held in Parracas, Peru next October. Complete results.
