Fifteen teams advance at Optimist Team Race Worlds

San Isidro, Argentina (October 25, 2014) – Thirty-eight teams left the dock today on the opening day of the Optimist World Team Racing Championship. The conditions were light and together with the current, this made for particularly difficult conditions.

After a long day and many, many, races – 15 teams qualified to go through to the next stage tomorrow: Denmark, Thailand, New Zealand, Argentina, Singapore, Norway, Great Britain, Peru, Brazil, Turkey, Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, Portugal and Spain. This list includes the reigning World Champions (Singapore) and the winners of the Europeans (Turkey).
