Video Replay: Lüderitz Speed Challenge 2014

The Lüderitz Speed Challenge is an annual speed sailing event, held since 2007 in Lüderitz, Namibia, in the southern hemisphere spring. It is observed by the World Sailing Speed Record Council (WSSRC) and the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).

In 2014, a limited number of competitors were allowed to facilitate the performances of each rider, in total – 34 riders (Windsurfers & Kite Surfers) representing 17 different nationalities. During the event, no less than 38 times, new records were set and then re-broken, ending the event with; 11 x New National Records and 1 x World Record!
