40th Annual Ft. Lauderdale to Key West Race

Steve and Heidi Benjamin’s Carkeek HP 40 Spookie won the IRC division of the 40th Annual LYC/STC Ft. Lauderdale to Key West Race, narrowly edging out George David’s Rambler 88 by nine seconds in the 160 mile race. Rambler 88 completed the course just under 12 hours. Topping PHRF overall was A division winner Bill Bollin’s Melges 32 BadFish, with Tom Reese’s Corsair 28R Flight Simulator taking the multihull fleet. Race website. Results.
