World Match Racing Tour loses title sponsor

(January 19, 2015) – As the title sponsor for the World Match Racing Tour since 2012, retail broker Alpari (UK) Limited applied for insolvency today after being battered by the surge in the Swiss franc last week. The tour announced that it is continuing as scheduled, including their final event of the 2014 World Championship in Malaysia on February 10-14. The Tour will shortly announce its 2015 calendar of events, and has received interest from potential global partners for the coming season.
