Consistency rules at Thistle Midwinters East

St. Petersburg, FL (March 4, 2015) – The majority of the 43-boat fleet showed up to the third day of the Thistle Midwinters East fully skeptical of the days’ conditions. But Todd Fedysyn knows the bay and his patience paid off with champagne sailing for three races.

Paul Abdullah with crew Karl Felger and Marie Thompson won the first two races but consistency by Mike Ingham with Dan Fein and Sarah Paisley strengthened their lead in the overall standings. Ingham’s team, now with a 1-2-2-2-2, has a 15 point lead over Scott Griffin with crew Mark Gise and Mike Stark in second.

Thursday’s weather forecast calls for temperatures in the high 70s and winds SW 10-15. Ten races are scheduled through March 6.
