Death Toll Grows on Mobile Bay

Fairhope, AL (April 28, 2015) – The death toll from the 18nm Dauphin Island Race on April 25 hosted by Fairhope Yacht Club reached three today, with search and rescue crews still scouring Mobile Bay shoreline for three people unaccounted for following a sudden storm. The individual found today was not identified, but the Coast Guard confirmed the remains of 27-year-old Kris Beall and 72-year-old Robert Delaney have been recovered. Among the missing are 17-year-old Adam Clark, 71-year-old Jimmy Clark (J.C.) Brown, and Robert Thomas who had been crewing for Delaney. Updates posted here.
