Audi Hamilton Island Race Week 2015 held August 15-22 in Whitsundays, Queensland, Australia.

There were 202 entries this year in four classes: IRC, One Design, Racer/Cruiser and Racing Multihulls. Also, Hamilton Island 2015 IRC Australian Championships are part of this regatta, with 40 boats racing in 4 IRC classes. The weather conditions ranged from 18-22 knots on first day of racing to slow going races on flat seas between the beautiful Whitsunday Islands all around Hamilton Island.

There is a real party atmosphere all round the island during the event. Racers and visitors alike enjoy all sorts of music and entertainment along Front Street with food and drink vendors lining the roadway. Many special luncheons and dinners at the Hamilton Island Yacht Club are hosted by different vendors all week long.

This definitely is one big party and week of racing.
