It is among the Whitsunday Islands of northeastern Australia which hosts the annual Hamilton Island Race Week, and it within this regatta schedule where yachts may choose to compete in the Prix d’Elegance for two prizes:

• The Best Presented Yacht and Crew (yacht in first-class trim and crew in matching uniforms).
• The Best Fun-Themed Yacht and Crew (let your imagination run wild).
