ISAF Youth Match Racing World Champs in Poland

Swinoujscie, Poland (September 15, 2015) – The 2015 ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship is being held in Swinoujscie, Poland from September 15-19, 2015. Teams are racing in Tom 28s. To compete, sailors must be under the age of 23 in 2015. Twelve teams are competing in the ISAF Grade W event.

On the first day of racing, eight flights were completed, with two matches per flight. Skippers winning each of their matches today include Joachim Aschenbrenner (DEN) and Nevin Snow (USA). Aschenbrenner won four matches, Snow had three races and won all three.

Each skipper will race each other skipper once in the first 15 flights in the semi-series. Racing resumes on Wednesday.
