Grael Brothers atop rank at Star Worlds

Buenos Aires, Argentina (November 7, 2015) – Torben Grael and Guilherme de Almeid (BRA) retain their lead at the Star World Championship, but only because a discard is now counted after the fleet completed its fifth race. An OCS by the Brazilian team (2-4-3-7-40) provides a precarious path forward with one race remaining tomorrow. Moving up to second is Lars Grael/ Samuel Gonçalves (BRA), just two points behind his brother, with Hubert Merkelbach/ Markus Koy (GER) and Diego Negri/ Sergio Lambertenghi (ITA) both trailing the lead by five points.

Six races are scheduled through November 8, with one discard when five or more races are completed.
