Problems in Paradise

Published on November 26th, 2015

The 2015 Flying Phantom Series planned to take place in Bermuda on November 29-December 2 has had a holiday delay.

Following an error at Hamilton terminal, the container carrying the 10 boats coming from Europe that had arrived last week was mistakenly shipped to New York.

The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club and Phantom International made their best effort to find a solution to solve this issue, even shipping the container by cargo plane in order to speed up the process. But the Thanksgiving holiday in the USA this prevented this solution, so now the container will then arrive at Royal Bermuda Yacht Club early Monday morning, November 30.

The schedule has been changed to now start on December 1 and potentially extended to December 3 to provide the fleet 3 days of racing on Bermuda’s Great Sound.
