Inaugural 49er Master World Championship in 2016

The 49er class will be holding its first Master World Championship on September 15-17, 2016, with racing on Lake Garda at Torbole, Italy. The 49er was designed by Julian Bethwaite for the Olympics, making its debut at the 2000 Sydney Games. To qualify for the Masters World Championship, teams must be a combined 70 years. Event website.
