VIDEO: An Offshore Adventure to Bermuda

The 635-mile Newport Bermuda Race started on June 17, commencing the 50th edition and the 90th anniversary of the partnership of the organizers, the Cruising Club of America and Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

This race video comes from the Baltic 55 Fearless which completed the course in four and half days. “We alternated between champagne sailing and fighting to keep steerage in calms. We only used the big genoa and spinnakers; we only put in a single reef once when a squall approached but never caught us.” Full report.
