In this episode Emirates Team New Zealand’ AC test-boat does a “Fly-By” on the assembled fleet at the start of the “Coastal Classic”, Dean Barker’s SoftBank Team Japan’s Wing Sail explodes and we see how they fix it, the first winner of the Vendee returns with his son for a look at this editions’ fleet, Yann Elies after suffering a horrendous accident and subsequent rescue by the Australian Navy has returned for another go in Queguiner – Leucemie Espoir, exclusive to the WoW North Sails CFO Trevor Jenkins and Global Sales Director Paul Westlake talk Vendee, AC and Volvo sails with Geoff Waller of the WoW and Guo Chuan is missing from his trimaran in the Pacific. The US Coast Guard checked his boat but there is no sign of him. We dedicate this edition of the World on Water to this great Chinese long-distance sailor.
