Live Coverage: Extreme Sailing Series Qingdao

Seven teams will compete in the 2017 Extreme Sailing Series™ second Act of the 2017 that starts April 28 in Qingdao, China. There will be live video streaming available on April 30 and May 1 as well as graphics provided by SAP analytics on April 25 to May 1.

The 3 hour live streaming programme, produced by Red Handed TV, includes fixed onboard cameras delivering the action from the water, shore side cameras, interviews from the race course and graphics delivered by SAP Sailing Analytics. The expert commentary team includes pro sailing commentators Niall Myant and Genny Tulloch.

Background: The Extreme Sailing Series is in its eleventh season, with this year’s eight event tour travelling through Asia, Europe, and Australia. The platform used is the one design foiling GC32 catamaran, with the format highlighting ‘stadium’ short-course racing in front of the public.
