Italian Michele Zambelli last saw the nine-metre yacht Illumia when he stepped off of it in the Atlantic Ocean following a brutal storm while competing in Royal Western Yacht Club’s single-handed transatlantic race. That was in June, and now five month’s later Illumina has been discovered having traveled across the Atlantic to the southwest coast of Ireland where it now resides on a beach in Brandon Bay.
